What data we collect

Pulse HD does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information
• We do not collect your location
• We do not collect information about the music files on your device
• We do not use analytics or tracking tools
• We do not use advertising networks
• We do not create user accounts or profiles

How the app uses your device

Pulse HD requests the following permissions to function:

• Read Media Audio — to access and play the music files stored on your device. These files never leave your device.
• Foreground Service / Media Playback — to keep music playing while the app is in the background and to show playback controls on your lock screen and notification bar.
• Record Audio (optional) — used only for the music visualizer feature to capture audio output for visual effects. This does not record or store any audio. You can use the app without granting this permission.
• Write Media (optional) — used only if you choose to edit song tags (title, artist, album) through the tag editor. Only files you explicitly choose to edit are affected.

None of the data accessed through these permissions is transmitted off your device.

Data storage

All app settings — including your equalizer profiles, visualizer configurations, playlists, and skin preferences — are stored locally on your device using Android's standard storage. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Third party services

Pulse HD does not integrate with any third party services, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers. There are no SDKs in the app that send data anywhere.

Children's privacy

Pulse HD does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is nothing to protect.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this privacy policy — for example, if we add new features that require new permissions — we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will never introduce data collection without clearly communicating it and updating this policy first.

Your rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us and we will respond promptly.
